Teaching Goals and Expectations

What do I want for my future Students? I want my students to come to class everyday excited to learn. I hope to incorporate all different methods of teaching to reach learners of every ability and learning preference (visual, auditory, kinesthetic). I would love to incorporate a hands-on approach whenever possible to increase retention of the material presented as well as to get my students more involved and engaged in learning. I want every student to reach their full potential and learn to work hard academically, because this will transfer over to other parts of their lives. I want my students to not only learn how to do well academically, acquiring new knowledge and skills, but to grow as individuals and develop a strong character. My faith in Jesus is very important to me and will be the center of everything in my classroom. I want my students to learn who Jesus is and what He's done for them and why they should live for Him. I want to incorporate devotions, prayers and discussions of faith in my classroom everyday. The most important way for a student to grow and get stronger is spiritually; if they grow in a relationship with Christ they can face anything else as well. I will do my best as a teacher to bring energy, passion and faith to my classroom everyday so my students will be the best they can be!

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6
